which amp

i am once agian bulidin another system for my car, im am deciding on an amp for the setup im gonna go with the power acoustik 1920 amp or the kenwood 1800 class d mono amp, the amp would be pushin 3-12" pionner subs that are 1000w apiece that total a 3000w! so im wander which amp would be better to run and which would be louder+SQ

first what is the voice coil configuration on the subs? what is the RMS wattage of the subs? what is your budget?

dvc subs 4ohm they are 400w rms i belive (maybe more) im not completley sure. im looking to spend as little as i can , the most i can is about $225

ok. NEVER go by max or peak wattage. always go by rms. you can get a final ohm load of 2.67 ohms. so you want something that does about 1500 or so watts rms at 2 ohms. maybe an mtx 1501D, or rockford 1501BD. look ebay for those. also wouldn't hurt to save cash and buy a pg tantrum 1200.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

whats the pg tratrum amp? never heard of em? how much do they run? can u get the 1500w at 2ohms out of either one of the amps i listed.

it's not made anymore. you'll have to buy it used. not sure about those amps but i doubt it. better chance buying something off ebay or the forums.
