Alright I'm workin with these kicker ks65.2 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3573.html. But heres the twist I have the two tweeters included in this package but I also have 4 of those midwoofers. Another catch is I only have 2 cross overs because I bought the other 2 midwoofers and they didnt come with crossovers am I screwed? I also have these http://www.crutchfield.com/S-h6M3S6Lb1bw/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=113KFC6970

and im thinkin about by 2 more and mounting them into my seat delete in my mustang so thats

(4) 6x9 speakers

(4) 5x7 midwoofers

(2) 1' Tweeters

What amp should I get to push all these speakers? Proll a 4 channel but which amp? thanks guys appreciate it so much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

My suggestion would be to save up and buy a good amp, rather than settle for something now. If you buy an cheap amp, you WIll upgrade later.........believe me I have a few laying around due to upgrading.

You are right you can get a cheap amp to push the speakers BUT, if you want good clean power get a good name brand. Believe me I thught the same as you until I purchased my JL amps.............theres no looking back. Everyone has their prefrence and mine is JL Audio. The bottom line is get what you like.

Unless you want to go partially "active".....yes. You do NOT want to run all 4 mids to the two passives as that will alter the crossover point and result in truly subpar performance.

Honestly, that's way too many speakers.

I would leave it at just the one component set upfront (ditching the additional pair of mids) and a single pair of speakers in the rear.

If you are interested in buying used, you can get some pretty good amps on the forums or ebay for $150 or less.

i agree. just run a set of components, cause you are turning into pipmedout97 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif what i would do is just buy a 2-channel for the comps and just run the comps up front. if you insist on rears, run them off the headunit

the problem is i have all those speakers and still can't hear vocals that well over the bass im usin a head unit to push the speakers its a jensen indash but i'll prolly definitly need an amp for this. I also thought I'd be better off with more speakers haha.

sorry to bring this up again but i really do need help finding the right amp for what I got I want the best bang for the buck! And with all these speakers and 4 subs will I need another battery? I have a beefed up alternator already I have one pushin 140 amps so i guess another question in addition to my first one which would be better get another battery or a capacitor?
