Which amp would you choose?

im looking for an amp to power my rl-p

id like to spend around $450 or less i was looking at the

Soundstream Tarantula 880/2 and run the amp bridged

any other suggestions?

Are you stuck on buying a 2-channel.....i was thinking you should probably get a monoblock(something like a viper 1200.1)

the only reason i was looking at that 2 channel was cause that amp is so rare and i would love to get my hands on it

those soundstream amps are very nice... but they are class AB .... which means that it could eat your electrical system faster than a class D amp

I was planning on getting a Van Gogh 1600.2 amp and decided against it for this reason alone.

Go with the Tarantula. It may be a class A/B amp but but then if you ever needed it to drive something else besides subs you could do so. Nothing wrong with versatility. A class D mono block is anything but versatile.
