price range? itll take a pretty good amp to do 500 at 4 ohm. i say zx750.1,it can be had for less than 200 bucks new.

thank you for your suggestion.....i am going to be running a dd1508 at 4 ohms and will probably upgrade to a fi Q 10 that i will be running at 2 ohms which i will need 1000w rms on that one....

Will it? My monoblock, a Diamond Audio D61500.1 (inarguably a 'pretty good amp') might not quite make 500w @ 4 Ohms. A Profile AP1200, while still a respectable unit, is most assuredly on the other end of the food chain from my Diamond and still its 4 Ohm mono bridged output is going to exceed 500w somewhat. It'll certainly make more @ 4 Ohm mono than mine will...

Shoot - I'm sure the biggest two-channel Pyramid and Boss amps which claim outrageous outputs in upwards of 2,000w or so will likely give you at least 500w when bridged (@ 4 Ohm, by the way...).

500w isn't a tough to achieve wattage level. There are literally heaps of amps that can give you that kind of wattage.
