Which amp will need more power from my alt and battery?

MB Quart REF4.50 wired 2 ohms: 100 watts x 4 chan.

MBQUART FX4.70 wired 4 ohms: 70 watts x 4 chan.

Either will be connected to (4)Naxa NX-774

120 RMS Watt Each 6.5 Inch 2-Way Coaxial Speakers

Just for comparison reasons lets say the gain is set the same on both

Probably about the same...look at the fuses on the amps and see which one has bigger fuses. .

100 watts x 4 will push them harder but not blow them correct?

Blowing a speaker can be caused by more than just to much power. Clipping is probably the number 1 reason speakers/subs blow.

If you only going to use the amp on those speakers...I would go with the 70x4..

If your going to do 2 ohm stereo. ...same amp...it will put out more power and you got 2 channels left over.

It says 4 ohm: 100W x 2 ,I have 4 speakers can I wire them in parallel with 2 in each door ? 100W x 4

200x2...but yes...each speaker will see 100...

Positive to positive. ..negative to negative. ..take those 2 wires to your amp.
