Which amp/subs to get?

people told me that memphis set is a pretty good deal.. but that amp that comes with it is only 500W... that wouldnt be enough to fully power the subs would it?

that 1200w amp i found i know it isnt a top of the line amp by any means and i dont know too much about them.. if someone could recommend a different amp for the first set that will fully power those subs while still keeping me in the same price range thatd be great.

Man 2 of those subs dual 4ohm wire down to 1ohm so any 1ohm stable amp

will work...This is the same amp iv been using scene 2006 great power good sound and cheaper

no im pretty much brand new to car audio.. ive been on these forums the past 2 days learning what i can but before that i didnt even know what an amp was for..

but im looking for a set of subs/amp/deck/wiring kit/box for around $600-$650

so basically i need to get subs/amp/box for around $500-$550

that memphis set was thrown at me as an option and everyone agreed with that person saying it would be a good buy..

someone else told me re se's were a pretty hard hitting sub at a good price..

but again: wouldnt those memphis subs be underpowered with that amp that comes with it?

wait a sec... those 2 newer models are TWO for $105.. whereas the older models are 100 a piece?

i really cant afford $300 just for subs though to be honest...

Make sure when you shop for a cd player that you look for one with ( Subwoofer Preamp Outputs ) both of these would be way better cd players than the Eclipse pioneer makes good HU, scene this is your first build I might would go buy one from walmart so you can take it back and get a new one if it shorts out while it being installed not saying that it would happen to you Knock on Wood...Walmart has good pioneers HU

ya but those headunits only have 2v preamp outputs.. the one i posted has 5v

i just figured that if i ever wanted to upgrade later on id have a deck that outputs a good amount of voltage so i dont have to replace it

As far a the preamp out puts go Iv got KICKER KQ30 line drivers, the out put on this thing it 9v

and let me tell you it makes all the difference too...
