Which amp should I go with? (Sub amp)

I'm looking into getting a new amp for my 2 12" Alpine Type R's. (1222d's)

Currently running a R500X1D and it just isn't enough for me.

Subs wired to a 2 ohm load and not really wanting to change that unless it will be much better for me.

I'm looking into either getting the JX1000/1D

JL Audio JX1000/1 Mono subwoofer amplifier — 1,000 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

Or the R1000-1D

Rockford Fosgate Prime R1000-1D Mono subwoofer amplifier — 1,000 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

Which one of these would you personally rather run if you had my subs?

Also, if you have a better amp to suggest, please do so. I would get something over 1000w, but I'm just not sure if my car can handle it with all stock equipment.

Wow! The Alpine MRX is a great suggestion. 1100 @ 2 ohms. I think I just might go with this. Hear of it having any problems?

If you only need 1100 watts, go with the mrx 110. The 240 does 2400 @ 2 ohms.

Better yet, buy my zx1500 listed in the classified section. It's 1500 @ 2 ohms.

yeah i personally wouldnt go for the Alpine, but its not a bad choice, i still recommend the JBL like ive got, **** goes hard
