Which Amp should i buy

If it's the kicker box setup then its a 2 ohm load overall. If you want to stick with kicker, a KX600.1 maybe? Do you have a brand preference?

how many watts @ how many ohms should i be looking for in an amp , i have heard MTX amps are good for kicker subs the subs are (2) 12" CompVRs with 400W RMS and 800W peak Single 4-ohm load at terminal cup

i really dont know much power i need to get good pounding bass you can hear down the block

please help

EDIT : when you say that the kicker box setup is a 2-ohm load what does that mean ? can this be true even if my subs are 4 ohm ?

BTW the subs are dual voice coil

Look for a 2 channel amp.... an MTX amp will work no better with kicker subs then any other brand...

if i have (2) 12" 4-ohm Dual Voice Coil CompVRs in the kicker box can the overall box still run @ 2-ohms? or would the 2 subs need 2 be both 2-ohm subs??

You need to have dual 2 ohm subs in order to run at 2 ohms overall. Another thing you need to do is not post the same question twice...

ok so i went to the kicker website and downloaded the guide for my sub box

and this is what i found:

does this mean i can run my amp @ 2 ohms because it says my box will produce a 2-ohm load overall????
