which amp set up? poll inside

ok so hers the deal within a couple months i will be buying an amp(s). here's the deal my 2 15L7s will be in a 4.5 cu. ft. per sub box tuned to 32hz. i wanna give each of them at least 1500 watts each. so i wanna know which setup i should go with. i'm not looking total SPL just a loud *** daily driver. any advice on what amp i shoul go with? my budget will be around $500-$650. vote also

here's the thing i want the best bang for the buck set up. it will probably be the powerbass. it it very under rated at 2800 watts at 1 ohm with only 12.3 voltsand 376 amps of current draw. i will run it at .5 ohms with 14.4 volts, which it will probably put out around 4000. i like the two brutus's setup also. the orion will give me about 3000 at the .5 ohms but does it draw morw current than the powerbass? the xx-hercules will give me around 2500 @ .5 ohms.

have you thought about maybe a sundown amp?

those powerbass's are current hogs and i've heard they've had problems in the past.

the 2500d's will be a better choice, sucks less current.

dunno about the 2 bxi2006ds. but i'd rather have 1 amp to push both my subs, so that leaves the xx hercules. i have no clue about that one either.

so i'd either pick the 2500d and be a lil underpowered, or pick the goliath (tho i kno nothing about it).

what are sundown amps? will the 2500d put out at least 3000 at .5 ohms with 14 volts? that would be a good start, maybe if it isn't that loud i'll buy another 2500d and put one on each sub.

orion 2500d on each sub,dont think u would have ur l7's long,1 2500d would be more than enough for l7's,isnt l7's rated at 750 rms a piece.

no theyr're rated at 100 rms each. they're 06 15's, they have been known to handle ove 2000 rms each.

i might even just get a colossus. hey matrixx dude have you had any problems with the colossus with amp draw with the 200 amp alt? and problems with it going into protect? i remember xp0it was having problems with one.

never had any problems with it,my alternater and my extra batteries supports it fine,lights dont even dim.strong *** amp.

i have been told that they do rated power by a hifonics representative. he said he benched a 1606d with a 1 ohm load and 14.4 volts and it did 1800 watts. so i'm guessing the 2006d will put out the 2000 with the elec upgrades i will get. not only that i will buy one brutus at a time. in think my elec system can handle just one 2006d with the Big 3, my alt is 115 amps.
