I'm making a box that is going into a expedition, and my max measurements came out to H=16", W = 48", D = 45". I'm making the box for 2 12" kicker L7's, and per the specs it calls for 2.5ft^3 @ 38Hz. does this sound right? I know I have to play around with the depth measurements. and maybe go with 3.25ft^3 @ 37 Hz. Im wanting this box to slam, and for sound quality.

2.5 sounds a lot better than 3.25 cubes. it's more within kicker's "range". but if you're primarily looking for sql, i'd tune the box lower... say 32Hz-35Hz.
