Which 8" subs to get. Planning on running 6

god i wish someone would do a comparison of the rli vs. the others like in the great 8 challenge

just buy the assassins man...in your heart you've already choosen it, hehe...just do it, you know you want to and the bill is right...

like i said, if you got the money and DON'T got the space, then i'd definitely go rli or CMP, otherwise assassins!!!!

what else can you get for $45????

RL-i x3 would be bad @$$//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif , you got me thinking. Did you watch the video every time I watch it it makes me want a couple but 3 would be great. I did buy an Assasin but it is still sitting in the box one of these days I am going to build a box for it and see what it does.

My vote is for the RL-i //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I just got a RL-p and does it sound nice. Makes me want 2 just for the fun of it.

They compare to JL audio 8W7's.
I'm not going to lie, it’s a bad-*** little driver: TC2+ motor, powder coated high gloss basket, anodized cone, poly-cotton spider, copper shorting ring to reduce flux modulation caused from the voice coil. Two 1” tall, 6.5” wide magnets for a total of a 150 ounce motor. NBR surround, low carbon steel t-yoke and gap plate, 2” wide 4 layer flat wound aluminum voice coil on a sliced aluminum former to reduce eddy currents, and each one is hand built in San Diego, CA. I believe the rest of the measurements can be found on http://www.soundsplinter.com. Those were just off the top of my head. ;p

Anything else?
(very high pitched voice)

GOOD LIE DUDE

haha copy and paste is your friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

x5 or w/e it is on the RL-i 8

Mine wangs off of 100W ported

And NhustlaR, you are indeed pwned since he works for TC sounds //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I went RE RE 8s for the simple fact of minimal mount depth and cheap! The stereo going in my truck is built on a budget. So far I have under 500 in it... but I already had some stuff from previous installs.

I should know how the 8s sound in a day or two. I am building the box tomorrow.
