I'm not going to lie, it’s a bad-*** little driver: TC2+ motor, powder coated high gloss basket, anodized cone, poly-cotton spider, copper shorting ring to reduce flux modulation caused from the voice coil. Two 1” tall, 6.5” wide magnets for a total of a 150 ounce motor. NBR surround, low carbon steel t-yoke and gap plate, 2” wide 4 layer flat wound aluminum voice coil on a sliced aluminum former to reduce eddy currents, and each one is hand built in San Diego, CA.
