Which 8" subs to get. Planning on running 6

anyone ever heard of rl-i8's in action? How do they sound, and what do they compare to?
They compare to JL audio 8W7's.

I'm not going to lie, it’s a bad-*** little driver: TC2+ motor, powder coated high gloss basket, anodized cone, poly-cotton spider, copper shorting ring to reduce flux modulation caused from the voice coil. Two 1” tall, 6.5” wide magnets for a total of a 150 ounce motor. NBR surround, low carbon steel t-yoke and gap plate, 2” wide 4 layer flat wound aluminum voice coil on a sliced aluminum former to reduce eddy currents, and each one is hand built in San Diego, CA. I believe the rest of the measurements can be found on http://www.soundsplinter.com. Those were just off the top of my head. ;p

Anything else?

Hey, thats awesome. If they are built in San Diego am I allowed to drive over there and pick some up? Thanks for the info //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if you can afford 3 rli 8's, then you can afford 9 Assassins...

its really gonna depend on how much room you got....if you don't got much room, i'd go for the rli 8's...if you got room to spare, 9 ASSASSINS FTW!!!!!

if the assassins weren't on sale, i'd say rli 8's no doubt but for $45, how can you go wrong?

forget tang band in this comparison
