Which 6.5 Comp Speakers? $300 budget.

Most of you that have heard that are prob. refering to the STAGE III design.. they were a little bright, but as stated could be tamed down easily... The NEW STAGE V's are not as bright as before...
Very true, as I've only auditioned the Stage III as a complete set. Ran them active and was able to have plenty of control over the tweeters. With a tad of EQ and a smidge less power, they were as expected and many people thoroughly enjoyed the sound in unison with the rest of the components.

Yeah I can't wait to install these stage V's!
 
Look at Diamond Audio hex components they come in 6 or 6.5 I have 2 sets of the 6 and they are amazing they sound excellent and really deliver with lots of mid bass the tweeters are incrediably crisp and clear fist set of speakers i have owned where i can crank up the subs and hear the music with great quality they go for around 500 but search around iv seen them go for 300 online
