Where u buy from, and favorite brands?

I have tried the search button and it works maybe 35% of the time. ill search and it loads a blank page that is white so im sorry if there is a thread but i cant find it.

Where do u guys buy from? crutchfield and sonicelectronix dont have most of the brands i see listed here. i have found woofersetc.com to have a few brands that i have seen mentioned on here but not all of them.

Also before i came to this forums i never heard of half of the brands mentioned here. just the well known like kicker, jl, rockford, etc.

how do you guys discover them? i google car audio and sub brands, all it brings up is well known brands.

im going to buy me some 8"s soon and people suggested the ID 8" and e8", but i really like to research a ton before i buy to make sure my money is spent well.

most brands that are seen that you've never heard of sell directly from their site, or affiliates that only carry their products. You looking for anything specifically?

Not to mention ALOT is bought and sold in the classifieds section. My entire system has been put together by buying from here and DIY's classifieds section..

You can get some really good car audio at Walmart...They carry a lot of high end brands like Dual ....Lightning Audio...JVC...Pioneer...Scosche...VR3 ect...

Walmart is where I get my dash kits for my cars. I can get my harness and dash kit fir under 20 bucks. It's 40 at best buy.

But to the OP I learned a lot about different brands from here

I get them cheaper than that, lolz

But good price definitely, metra is the way to go for install kits

i get them alot cheaper than too lolz i pay 1.50 -3.00 for harnesses and 4-7 each for dash kits i am a metra distributor lolz

and walmart scoche dash kits are fking horrible 1/2 the time they dont fit right

I bought my head unit from sonicelectronix, great site imo. Crutchfield seems over priced

most brands i have heard of from this forum, i go to their website and they dont sell it. they want u to go to a dealer and the closest is 2 hours away.

im trying to find the best 8" or 10" sub that will fit in my truck. less than 5 mounting depth and i only have a .3 or .4 cubic foot box.

everyone said ID 8 or e8. but like sundown dont even sell them anymore. i find them on here and they sell like instantly. i found the ID8 for 120$ figured if i dont find anything better i would get them.

but like the DD T1500, not sure of the specs on it but its supposed to be made for slim installs. but where do u buy it? u cant from their website. there is no store within 50 miles from me. would it be better than ID8 or e8?

are those my only options? 150watts rms just seems weak
