Ok guys I am new to the whole car audio scene. I recently purchased a 2003 Taurus SEL with the Mach audio system for a daily driver(Mustang for FUN!) The stock system already sounds good but when you turn up the volume loud the amp has to pull power to the highs for the bass or at least it sounds like it is. So my question is where would you start with this car? I have heard many stories of how much a nightmare it is with the Mach system already in the car. Also, I recently tried to have an aftermarket headunit installed and the place installing it said that there is no aftermarket face cover to go over the climate controls. Does this mean that I have to control subs with the stock control??? As you can see I need suggestions. Also price isnt an issue as of now. So if you can suggest an aftermarket component system that is going to sound the best with subs being added to it. Thanks
