Where should I mount the crossovers for my front component system?

If there is room, some people put them in the doors at the speaker location. If you have more wire and patience, you can display them near the amps. Several installers cut them into the doors and display them flush mounted........there are several options

In the past I have mounted them under the dash or just out of sight up front to keep from running another 10-15 feet of speaker wire. Showing them off is cool but I also dont want to spend any more money on extra stuff if I dont have to... Just something to think of.
