Where to mount my two amps?

Hey all, I purchased two amps for my first system (a Profile and a Directed Audio if you were interested). The Profile amp is a 2-channel amp for my front pair of speakers and the Directed amp is a mono amp for my sub. I am probably going to install just the speaker amp soon and then wait till my box for my sub gets done and then put the mono amp in. I was wondering where to mount each amp? I was thinking that I should mount the mono amp to the back of my rear seat (like most people do)(Would I need any other materials than the included screws? Would I screw the amp onto the back of the back seat?). I was thinking of mounting the 2-channel amp under the front seat but I am worried about the heat of the amp. Would I be better to just mount both amps on the back seat and run all the wire to the front or just put it under my front seat.

This is going in a Mazda3s btw.

i have a 4 channel and mono amp and they are mounted right in the back of my rear seats. Thats the usual place where people will mount there amps. If u were thinkin about mounting ur amps on the box u will be getting.. i would not recommend it. I wouldnt recommend because it will just rattle the brains out of the 2 amps.

I have an amp under each front seat and i havn't had any heat problems. I also live in Arizona.

when you get your box in the trunk you will see how much room you have. if you need to save space, use the seat. otherwise there might be better place to put them once you see what kind of space you are working with.

Are you suggesting I mount the amps to the carpet?
