Where to go from here

Ever since SVT Cobra scammed me on the 1000/1 sell, i have been thinking about what to do next. The postal inspector is working on it but it may be a little while before i get the final verdict. My box is still being built but i am wondering if i should just say fck it and not even run subs. This last incident has really pissed me off and if i buy another 1000/1 it would be from tweeter and thats $999.99 I don't want to spend that but i don't feel like getting scammed again either. I think it would be easiest to just take my loss on the box and just roll with components. I already have the wiring run and i just installed my 200A alternator to support the 1000/1. The subs are sitting in my room but i can e-bay those. What do you think?

Wait and see what the postal inspector does, unless you have $1000 to drop on the amp. Either way, I doubt you'll be getting the amp from SVT,so you're going to need another one. But if you don't have the money, then you might as well wait to see what happens, if you can get refunded whether it be in small claims court or whatever.

i won't NEED one if i just roll components. pisses me off cuz i have been planning this system for awhile but i am burnt out now. Could i buy the amp from tweeter? yes. Do i want to? no

I just don;t want to drop the cash. i might if the inspector gets my money back but just like you said, i'll just have to wait and see. I am calling them daily and the lady already knows me so thats good.

I might have blown my comps today with nickelback cuz i was pissed. I was on the interstate with it slamming and i smelt the burnt elec/speaker smell. I rolled the volume down but the drivers side tweet is scratchy. I am thinking new door panels since the tweeters are cut into these and some sweet braxials and be done. sell teh box and subs to somebody with a 150 and put my amp back under the seat. (it was mounted on the back wall with a spot for a 1000/.1 next to it.)
