I'm in Southern Florida and i have a mark viii with a aode/4r70w transmission. Its a 1993, first generation, and not in bad shape right now. Doesnt even really slip for the most part, but the last owner drove it a long time with a broken 1-2 accumulator spring, so one of the clutches are very worn, whichever operates 1st to second. I'm looking for either a shop, or a skilled individual. My only quote so far was 1200, for a 1998 rebuilt transmission with the jmod done, alto clutch pack, and a few other slight upgrades over stock. I can find it for 750ish down here, but sketchy places where i would not let me car be worked on. The place for 1200 is up in Northern Florida and known for working on tbirds, cougars, mark viiis, grand marquis, and other 4.6 ford variations.
