Where to get custom interior piece?

yeah, i know of a guy that was a mechanic that didnt un hoook his battery and it really hurt him bad when it did deploy.

ok one last question. what would i have to get to plug in the power cord for the playstation that would normally go into a house wall into a car? and how will i get the sound to run though the speakers, the cd player shouhld have like an auxilery port or something shouldnt it? or i could split the sub port if it doesnt i guess couldnt i?

there should be(maybe) an input rca set on the back of your hu, and you just plug the rca into those and into the ps2. if your hu doesn't have an input, then i guess your screwed until you get one that does. as for the power, you can get a power converter, although i'm not sure where, maybe radioshack? maybe sony has one already made because they planned on people doing this, i don't know.

A "do it yourself" kind of project is what it looks like. Thats the way to go, ultimate customizing.
PS is it just me or is the stick of the stick shift bent? lol weird....

yea it is long, im thinkin about gettin one of thos b&m shifter kits to shorten it, my dads got one in his pt cruiser and i like it alot

Look the page below.......I am trying to do the same thing as you....Except I want to leave in the ac vents and put the Air control pannel in flush in the shifter bezel under the radio. I am going to mount the PS2 under the glovebox....Iv gotten into an accident with my mustang and would never take out the airbags!! just my experience...If you have already done the job or are still finding info on it hit me up so we can talk and help one another out!!!!

wow that stang is nice! id love to do something like that! probably really expensive though. i dunno what to do with the AC. Im probably goign to put it in the very bottom slot where the factory cd goes, if i deicde to put a tv in teh middle. I think what ive decided on now is to just put tv's in the visors and mount the playstation in or under the glove box. pretty simple but it will work and wont cost much for special pieces or fiberglass work.

No actually the way im tryin gto do it is the most cost effective of all of them.....

1. Lcd screen ebay= $150ish (might not be the best ,but im just testing the waters)

2. Pioneer Dvd,cd,mp3 headunit = $400 (great head unit)

3. Extra radio Bezel off ebay= $10

4. Fabricating the bezel......home project with Bondo,brushes...$20ish

Im working on the bezel this weekend...

Just need to get a mf mobulator to give power to my playstation.

Other then that I hopefor a clean install...Ivdrawnit all out and I believe I have a good grasp of what will fallow

lol i ment 200 for the screen '(probably clarion) + the price for the install .. i think thats what i ment anyways

if you were going to replace the airbag unit, you could easily find the deploy module for them, and detonate the airbag. then just cut it out.
