I'm running a sundown at .5 ohm and from what I've been told I'll pull around 190amps. 190 is too close to 200 to buy a 200 IMO. Thats why I'm trying to get a 250.
190A is going to be the draw at max power on sine waves. It will take a over 200A or a sustained continuous draw of 200A to trip a 200A breaker. In fact is you don't short internal fuses on the amp, you don't have to worry about it drawing any more than what it takes to blow 160A fuses.
If you want reliable circuit protection a fuse is the only way to roll.
