Where to find Vehicle Specific Instructions

I'm somewhat new to car audio but I hooked up all of my own systems and now I have friends who want me to hook theirs up. I like doing it so im up to the challenge. My question is what is the best place to get vehicle specific instructions? For example: I need to hook up an amp to a factory impala radio.

In that case you would need a Line Output Converter, LOC.

I doubt you will find a very comprehensive source of vehicle specific installation instructions. Hayne's manuals help out a lot though for disassembling a vehicle and they're specific
