K, so I have been looking around on a few car audio sites and I can't find anything that talks about time alignment. Is there any type of device that is made specifically for time alignment or do I have to buy a new head unit that comes with time alignment capabilities? If it is possible for me to get a separate time alignment machine where could I get one at?

The most cost effective route is a new headunit.

Many headunits are capable, I picked up an Alpine CDA-9830 with Time Alignment for under a hundred bucks; That's manual time alignment mind you - my PRS-880 ($250 - 350) includes a sensor that does an automatic time-alignment and equalization.

It did a very good job.
