where to find the speed sensing wire?

does anyone know where i can find and what color is the speed sensing unit wire? i need it to hook up my pioneer avic d3. i have a 2001 jeep cherokee 4x4 with the 4.0 6 cyl and an automatic.

The Advice Given To You About Splicing Into ***** Speed Sensor Wire Is Incomplete By A Long Shot. You Can Do That, But You May Have Some Drawbacks If Not Done Properly. First Off, Most Vehicles Today Have 2 Wires At The Speed Sensor, A Feed Wire And A Return Wire. Keep In Mind That You Are Dealing With Wires In The Computer Harness, So A Minor Mistake Can Cause Big Problems Costing Big Money. You Want The Return Wire For Your Hookup And Whatever Color It Is At The Sensor, Most Likely Will Be The Same Color At The Computer Plug. Any Time You Add Wiring To A Car The Shorter The Better, Especially Dealing With The Ecm (computer). Since Most Cars Have Their Computers Inside The Car, The Shorter Route Would Be To It Instead Of The Rear Section Of The *****, Outside The Cabin Area. All Splicing Into A Computer Wire Should Be Soldered And Heatshrunk For Strength And Protection. If You Are Not Sure Of Wire Color It Would Be Faster And Cheaper To Buy A Service Manual With A Computer Plug Pinout Diagram. Better Safe Than Broke Down. Hope This Helps.

It'll on the back of the transfer case, on the driver's side, since it's 4 wheel drive.
