You do realize that the quote you posted does absolutely nothing to support your claim, and actually supports the point helotaxi and myself are making...don't you ?
He talks about how clipping an amplifier might alter the sound produced between two amplifiers.....a measurable and identifiable cause. Clipping would obviously show up in the distortion measurement helotaxi and myself have pointed out numerous times in this very thread.
So again I ask you to show me where there are unmeasurable, unquantifiable differences in amplifiers that will alter the "sound" of an amplifier as you suggest ? Please explain how we are NOT measuring what he will hear ?
