Where to buy cheap and accurate dmm?

I remember seeing someone post a link to a dmm for cheap and said it was accurate, but this was a while back. Any recommendations?

I would love to find a cheap one but even though they are used they are still pretty pricey!

Harbor Freight is a great place to get a cheap descent dmm. Just dont expect it to be too accurate.

Sears just had a heck of a deal on their $30 Craftsman 82139 this past weekend, selling it for $20. I picked one up and I'm really happy with it. I compared it against a friend's Fluke 177 and it's dead-on. It is also auto-ranging and will do data-hold and Relative.

Even at $30 it's still a good deal.

BTW, before this, I had two of the cheap ones from Harbor Freight. One didn't work and one was waaay the hell off.

Craftsman and Bluepoint were the 2 listed in that post.Look for something that reads ACA as well as DCA.Craftsman has a regular one that does both and is pretty nice and they also make a pro version that is alittle more but I say just get the regular one for 50 bucks.You don't need the most expensive one you can get that has features you will probably never use!

I just use a cheap walmart one

but it matches my friends exactly, so I think its dead on.. Otherwise both mine and my friends are out the same amount lol
