Lately ive been noticing that every now and then, my bass will just shut off and i wont have any bass for what im listening to. Could this be signs of my battery not being able to support my amp?

I dont think its the fuse, because i got a pretty big JL fuse on there right now. In the past i did burn out 2 fuses that weren't JL tho, and they werent as big.

what do u guys think is going on?

what kind of battery do you have.

I have an Optima Yellow top, and my power wire wasn't tightly connected to the battery terminal, and that caused my bass to power off.

After I tightened the connection, it stopped shuttin' off. So try that.

If that isn't it. Run a ground wire from you battery terminal to your AMP. * That'll make it a perfect ground *

If it continues, battery needs to be checked out, upgraded, or alternator might need attention.

^^Probably a loose wire. Is the amp going into protect or overheating? Might want to check your ohm load, but if you say this just started happening, then most likely a loose wire.
