Hello there I want my amp to turn off when my radio head unit is off but my radio doesn't have a wire for an amp remote wire.

here is my wire diagram:

any suggestions?

well it did in the manual say you could use antenna but it says

DO NOT connect this wire to a negative position or to any device that requires high current

I am assuming an amp is a device that requires high current???

edit: its a custom autosound usa-6

it is built for classic cars

no the antenna is always up and im pretty sure the wire always gets power when the radio is powered on

im afraid if i try hooking up the remote wire to the antenna wire it might fry my head unit

just connect it to the accessory wire. from your diagram that would be the red one.

oh and antenna usually only puts out power when the radio is on. not with cd or other source. so you would not want to use that
