Not in the front storage compartment. Front storage compartment = back storage compartment. Where you can take the lid off, also where the jack is.

Are you below the window line? You could make a "roll up" cover ,like a roll up shade to go from the back seat to the back door. I think it would work. Are you trying to hide everything for a clean install,or hide it from somebody looking to "borrow" it?

that little pocket in the back is great for a decent sized battery.

i put his amp behind the box.

so put it behind box, and run wires in the first storage compartment, drill a hole in the compartment, run wires under the carpet through the firewall to the battery?

I really am not liking the under the seat thing. What if one of my friends spills a drink?
this is why I dont allow my friends drink or eat in my explorer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif anything could go wrong you know

false floor = no air
make some air!!

I am in process of getting a false floor so once I receive it from my builder then i ll be sure to post it up.. keep an eye for it..

I am getting false floor with vent holes and then I will put 2 stinger cooling fans under the floor to help the air flow around inside the floor..

nice idea for 2nd battery!

I am liking that idea a lot!

did you cut the "pocket" out or you removed the whole panel to remove the pocket and put in the battery?

i just went ahead and removed that whole rear panel, ran the wire from front batt to the rear batt. Then from the rear batt, to the amplifier. Zipp tied everything, then put the panel back on, that way i did not need to drill any holes in the factory panels.
