Where is the Wire???

Hey I just bought a sub to put in the back of my 1987 Honda Civic HB. I have already installed a deck and I noticed that in the wiring there are wires to rear speakers. Now when I have gone into the trunk area and looked under the carpeting, I am unable to find the wires for the rear, does anyone know where they are or will I have to wire it myself? Once again its an 1987 Honda Civic HB... any help is greatly appreciated.

if you installed a HU, there may be RCA outputs on the back of it. if this is the case, you must run some rcas to an amp in the trunk in order to power the sub. without an amp, you are wasting your time (and space)with putting a sub back there. if your HU does not have rca outs, then you may have to re-wire all of your speakers. OR find where your rear speakers are (if you have any) and connect that speaker wire to an amp and then to the subs.
