ive talked with the ppl at CIA numerous times and every time they just seem like they are full of BS, not to mention all the horror stories i have heardme 2, most companies its a pain in the *** to get stuff covered under warrentee, unless you know somebody. Since bob was a friend of mine he always did me right. Personally as a regular consumer I would buy a Sundown amp because Jake eats alot of bad amps under warrantee that most companies wouldn't ( stuff caused by user error )
It's really a gamble, you can get a cheaper amp like a hifonics/AB/others and if you have a problem you pay then to get it fixed, maybe you'll have a problem, maybe you wont. Or you can pay a little extra up front for piece of mind.
but it shouldnt be a big deal if Bob can just call them and take care of it
as far as amp repair, DB-r is my choice
also: sundown's customer service is FTMFW
