Where do ya'll buy speaker adapters?

Just got some components and they don't fit into the subaru forester adapter. So where do I buy adapters? Do I have to make my own? Just thought you guys might know. Thanks for the help!!

This one is old, but just incase anyone catches this thread looking for fitting speakers in Foresters or other Subarus, IA Performance has adaptor rings for fitting components in the doors. Hope this helps.

Agree'd. Problem with the Subaru's is the limited mounting depth. MDF is the best alternative, because .75" helps ALOT when trying to gain a bit more mounting depth.

yeah i have to agree that using mdf is the only way to go on this one. I did it in my 02 rs to fit Diamonds front and back and also upsized to 6.5's in the front and 5.25's in the rear. good luck

I have a WRX and i just made my own for the doors, and i countersunk my tweeter in the door, but if you don't want to put a hole in your panel then the tweets are fine in stock location
