Where do the wires go?

I wired the amp to the subwoofers, the power wire is set, the ground wire is set, but I don't know where the remote turn on wire goes. ( the little blue one im guessing 14 gauge) Also, is that all I need for it to work? Do I need to connect the inputs? It has a low input RCA line on the amp, and a plug in high input on the amp. I'm only supposed to connect one, where would they go? There's also no RCA input on the hu...it's a standard car radio. And when I took the radio out all I saw was 2 sets of plug in wires.

your amp will have a remote terminal you can run that to an antenna line or something with a 12volt power source that turns off when the car's off and u will also need i think its called a line out converter you will run your speaker wires in to it (like from your rear 6x9s or w/e and rca's will plug into that

The blue remote wire goes to where it say REM or remote on the amp, haha. But since you have a stock stereo you will have to find out if it has a factory amp and find out which wire is the remote and splice into it, if not you can maybe splice it into a wire that turns on only when the key is on, option one is best, maybe even a power antenna wire you could hook it upto but im not positive its safe ( someone correct if wrong) but some decks only have the power antenna remote lead on when the tuner is on so it may not work when playing a cd.

As for the inputs, you dont need to buy a line out converter, you said your amp has the High level inputs on it with a plug, as stated already, splice into the speaker wires for the rear speakers, make sure you get the positive and negative to the right wires or it wont sound right.

first check and make sure power going to the amp 2nd. your going to need a clean sweep becuz you have no fac. inputs unless you splice into the wiring and f^ck up your internal wiring harness but you need RCA and same with the remote you would use that with the clean sweep which i can you one for about 120 + shipping but you might be able to find a local one. but thats all you need, but the one i could get you is a JL Audio Clean Sweep its runs i think 129.99 but i get a good deal. PM interested

for a place to hook up remote wire to tell amp to turn an try your fuse box just various fuses until u find the right one

thats how i did mine when i had stock radio and stock amplifier still use the same remote wire and it works fine with the loc

i have a aftermarket radio but it only has a sub out and has like 1 or 2 volt out so the line out converter puts out more volts so i use that

A unit like the clean sweep would sound lots better i am sure but he does not NEED to have one... And you dont need to splice into the wire harness behind the radio. splice into the rear speaker wires..

this dude should just go to BB or CC and get ripped the fu**off cuz im tired of reading his threads..i mean its cool that your trying to do this yourself but if you buy an amp kit all you need to do is follow the directions on the back of the box.
