where do i set my LPF

my deck/ and amp have a HPF and LPF. where do these need to be set for my set up. i have 1 12" L7 (700 RMS) pushing it. and crossfire mids. i think my mids will be ok at 78 but i have 2 settings. eather 78 or 125, and same for my LPF. where do i need to set each of these or should i leave one or both of them off. Thanks

set the hp and the lp at 78.

its basically personal preference...try both and decide with your ears. My filters are set at about 125-150 because my mids rattle my doors a **** load when they recieve the lower notes
