where do I mount my component's crossover?

I hid mine somewhere in the footwells. It was nice because it is very temporary - I am getting anew car soon. Either way I may go there again... it keeps permanent modifications down and keeps everything safe and hidden.

Common sense--

You should mount them inside your headrests with plexiglas and LEDs.

Another idea is to embed them inside the dash with plexiglas windows and more LEDs.

Or you can fiberglass crossover pods on your A-pillars and put them there.

Those are my second choices //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

wow.... maybe i should put the ones i am not using in my headrests for show purposes.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I also thought about mounting them on the rims too. But this would only work with spinners otherwise the wires will get all twisted up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

vv-- hes good.

^^-- you're good.

Seems like a lot of work that is still a little "iffy." Why not just safely mount them in the interior?
alot of work? I can do it in under 5 mins for both sides, mount them in the interior and depending on the car running 2 sets of wires through the door boot can ****.

And nothing iffy about it im been installing them that way for over 2 years and never had a problem

Yea, I just don't like the idea of using Ziplock backs in an install when you could take that 5 min and run the wires through the door boots. But hey... too each his own.

obviously you have not worked on many cars, fords are not bad getting through the door boot but some cars are a pain in the ***, and when there is molex plug its even worse. Also install for a living and i have an hour to do a set of components

But since you dont mind mount them in the kickpanel just keep them away from bundles of factory wiring thats often found in the kicks because crossovers can pick up noise

to run wires thru my door I have to remove my door and my fender, then cut the molex thats not a 5 minute job. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Yea, I have only worked on my car. I guess I assumed that most or all cars were similar to mine as far as running wires through the door boot; apparently not.

I do have my crossovers away from any wiring or wiring harness that Ford has tucked up in there.
