where did the type-r comps go?

Hi all,

I can't find any info on the alpine web-site on the type-r spr-176A components, and I called a couple of places locally and they said that they might be out of the market and are being replaced with something else!!!

Anybody knows anything?

Also if you know of any online store that sells them for a reasonable price, then let me know please.

alpine is redoing there line, like rockford has just done last year, the type-rs are being replaced...... well with the type-rs jus redone

Hey desi_daru, it is so good to see somebody local in this forum. Any idea if I can get those speakers for around US$120 locally? That price is what they seem to be going for on the internet plus shipping.

Also like Blados said, can I get a link to any on-line vendor that sells the alpine speakers for the prices quoted?

ike sound used to have the type r 6.5 comps for 118 but they dissapeered off there site 2 weeks ago
