I am trying to locate the Vehicle Speed Sensor wire/fuse that I can tap into for an Alpine Nav System I am installing in a 2004-2006 Ford Explorer. I also would like to know if I can just tap into the cruise control fuse and if this would work. Please let me know as soon as possible, I have to finish this project for a friend.

Thanks - - Sean

There's no fuse on the speed sensor circuit, but what your looking for is a DK BLU/YEL (dark blue / yellow) wire at the PCM. This is the signal return for the output shaft speed sensor. Circuit 359, Pin 41 in the PCM (Right side of engine bulkhead)

anymore input any else?....preferably in english?
Try and help someone out and this is the smart *** remark you offer back? I'm thinking this install is way over your head, take it to someone that knows what they are doing. Or at least someone that knows the cruise control fuse doesnt carry a speed sensor signal.

Ohh hell I missed the point, you wanted me to tell you exactly where the wire is within a MM, and maybe drive there and make the connection for you? lol
