http://www.annualcreditreport.com is the one set up by the gov't for your federally-mandated annual report. It's legit. The rest are basically all trying to get you to pay or sign up for some shit service.

The gov't one gives you your report, but no scores.

And http://www.creditboards.com is the frigging BOMB.

such is the price for having nice toys that go beyond your means. I don't actually have that much, but it is impacting my scores. Don't really care though, I have nothing I want to finance for quite a while so I have time to pay them off before I have a real need for my credit and need it to look good.

Weren't they all supposed to merge and a new credit grading score in place? Something like grading A-F? I thought I read about that somewhere but didn't follow up.

I did just finance a house, a 2nd bike, and a new truck within the last two months too though.

Its definately time to start paying some stuff down....as soon as I get an alt and a few batteries, then I swear I'm done spendin.

Nope.

Medical bills and trying to get by after becoming disabled from an auto accident in 1998.

Takes forever for disability to be approved (which is far lower than I once made), and the insurance company of the people who made a left turn in front of me in an intersection (hit them at 55mph driving a 1965 Baja Bug) dragged out getting to the mediation for over a year and a half.

Really got behind.
