when you make a box with a fiberglass front how maney layers do you put on? 1 or 5 layers then bondo?

if the material will be part of the actual structure of the box, multiple layers will be necessary. however, if the fiberglass modification is purely cosmetic, a single layer with bondo to even out the imperfections will work.
