When theSubs hit speakers stop

Ok sometimes when the subs hit hard the speakers will cut out. I kind of had this problem before but it was just a lose connection. I checked everything and kind of at a lost. It seems like the amp for the speakers doesn't get power when the subs hit. Help me out what should i look for.

other then a loose connection I don't know what else it would be. I don't see that there would be a problem other then that. Recheck everything cause I'm guranteeing that it's the problem!

Take a DMM and see how far your voltage dips, it might be dropping enough so the speaker amp cuts out but the sub amp stays on.

ok it was all working fine and haven't changed anything but I think my alternator is going. I will see how much it dips when the subs hit and will check all the connections I also have 0 gauge now being run from the back battery to the amp would that change anything?

is it going into protect? 0 gauge wire is all fine and dandy, but a decent electrical system to back that up, its pointless. how big is your alt?

just the stock one but the lights don't dim or anything like that so I don't think that is the problem.

ok I think it does have something to with the rca's. Going to check and hopefuly everything is all fixed.

definitely isnt at higher volumes it just shuts off now. i think I'm fcked right now. I'm going to charge my battery in the back and see if that helps.

ttt. I don't think it has anything to do with the amps. They are just fine i think it is something electrical.
