roughly after 1000-1500 watts true rms. certain stock alternators have a stronger alt to support up to that. some people can squeeze 2k out of a 100-120 amp alternato with upgraded front and secondary battery. its true up to you and what you plan on running.

@1k I ran a dc 2.0k on no big 3 no ho alt and just extra batt not much drop at all.

It is vehicle dependent really.

i have a 01 impala , if i got 2 kinetik 2400s or 3 kinetik 1800s or a xs power d3100 Would this be fine for at my aq 2200? at one ohm, And also how many watts couldi end up running on these batts with rest of everything else stock.

Do urself a favor and upgrade ur big 3 REGARDLESS of the rms of ur current system.. You're NEVER gonna go smaller, so GO BIG OR don't go at all.. Sayin?? It's short money, and if you live/love car audio chances are ,eventually, you're only gonna need more. SUPPORT this with a big three upgrade and you wont hurt a damm thing.. you'll just be prepared.

you can run that aq on big three and big batt in back. You could upgrade stock batt too to help more

I'd shoot for around 100ah from the extra batt if I were you. Your output is effected by voltage drop
