the problem is for him, its so wide, that he cant fit a screwdriver in the side.
your best bet will prolly be a socket wrench with a drillbit in it, and some screws... if that makes sense.

Why not pre-drill before you put the pieces in..?

I just built the whole thing outside w/o glue and took it apart until it fit in the trunk and then assembled it again.
