depends n the car actually ,some already use 4 gauge ,but most dont .1000 rms isnt alot ,trust me .if your nt going over 1500 rms then the 4 gauge should be finewow thats alot of RMS, can you u use 4 gauge for that, i have 4 gauge power and ground now. i don't have 1000 rms but just in case i ever do?
