last night my irraggi 320amp alt died, or so i think. i was getting 12.6v on all batts, with the car on, car off volts jump up to 12.8. so after a bunch of head scratching, just decided to put the stock alt back in.(thanks steve)
after i turned on the car voltage jumped 13.3 and slowly charged up to 14.2,
(keep in mind i drove from point of brake down to fix spot.)
driving the day before at idle there would be no charge of the alt 12.6v give it gas and it would go back up to 14.2 but not hold to well with music playing.
stock alt in i did take it easy on it but big drop when playing music but came back up and it was not to i really turned it up,
the car is a 2006 chrlyser sebring 2.7l v6
6 xs d3100 batts
3 soundstream DTR1.3400s running @.5ohm
1 die hard platinum p-3 under the hood
6 soundstream SPLhx 12s
2 pos runs front to back
2 neg runs front to back
2 pos runs from alt to batt front
i am going bald and gray over this please any input to help ideas, alt companys,how to on custom mounts ect thanks very much to those who take the time in advance
