What's your favorite guitar solo?

Raining blood has awesome guitar in it. They use the same beat in a little jon song, who can guess what song.
Stop ****in Wit Me.

Raining Blood has been covered a lot...Tori Amos has and Reggie and the Full Effect, to name two. I think the song is fine but I'm not sure the guitar solo is great....fast, but that makes it hard to play well technically...not a lot of diversity. Of course, with death metal...you don't really need to play well.

Had to edit that twice to say what I was trying to say.

Yea I know it isn't the greatest but i love the way it sounds. Not really the most complex.

For a solo WITHIN a song:

1.) Rik Emmitt...Truimph..."Rock 'N' Roll Machine"...on "Stages: Live"

2.) Ted Nugent..."Wang Dang Sweet Poontang"...on "Double Live Gonzo"

3.) Michael Schenker..."UFO..."Rock Bottom"...on "Strangers In the Night"

For Just a STRAIGHT OUT solo:

1.) John Petrucci...Dream Theater..."John Petrucci Guitar Solo"...on "Once In A Livetime"

As you can tell.....I'm an old fart!!
