i think the jbl isnt such a great amp, basically it does the job. MTX 8100D is probaly a little better although ease of connecting wires isnt great. JL audio amps are awsome, but $$$. MMATS amps are reliable and very good.

So far my favorite brand of amp right now is Profile California series and the Clarus series. Good, clean, reliable, and cheap amp. Good sound, good power, and all the basic features of higher end amps. For me its Profile all the way. (I wouldnt sound like I loved the company would I? lol).

My fav amp out of the ones i've used or heard is my current PPI. 500w x1, and it gets the HC movin like crazy, and when i had 2 Diamond 12"s the amp/sub combo sounded GREAT. They put out good clean power, it's too bad i'm going to get rid of it in favor of a more powerful amp.. i'm kinda attached to my silver 'lil amp.

My favorite amp is the Harman Kardon TC400q 4ch. The TC-600 would be nice for the subs.

i LOVE my amp.

also my old autotek mx-1300. i loved that amp and it had every amp feature anyone could ever possibly desire. too bad i had to sell it. i should of picked a different sub, instead of redoing my whole system
