credit card if paid right will keep your score decent, maybe high, you just wont have a lot of credit. Somethng like a car or house is where you establish the best credit

I've heard of people going and getting a 1 year, $1,000 loan and paying it back just to build credit.

no....I paid on them for a while then quit after I seen I wasn't getting anymore credit...I think I owe over $100,000 with late fees and crap now.....oh well getting close to new SS# time.....I've been doing some research it is trickier these days but still can be done...10 years ago it would've been a cake walk.....
