What's your choice: Sundown SAE1200D,MB Quart 1500.1,AudioQ AQ1200d,Audiopipe ap15001

I call bs. Link please. I can see it doing a 1500 with a high thd...
TEST 1:

1 ohm nominal @ 60 Hz

1440 Watts

54.6 V

26.4 A

2.07 ohms

** Over rated power at 1 ohm nominal with 2x rise

TEST 2:

1/2 Nominal @ 45 Hz

1750 Watts

49.6 V

35.3 A

1.4 ohms

TEST 3:

1/2 Nominal @ 50 Hz

1840 Watts

Popped Fuses (too much current draw)

Replaced fuses amp is okay -- I don't suggest 1/2 ohm daily but to get power testing somewhere close to 1 ohm actual I wired it that way with a known rise.

Hmm... i wonder how clipped the signal is lol, 14.4v i assume?

From what it seems people are loving the Sundown and the MB Quart. I guess someone cant go wrong with either. Funny how some people like the MB and some people like the Sundown. I wish there was some sort of testing someone can do to compare the power, reliability and other important factors.

Anyone else have any input on these amps. A lot of people on here seem to have used many of these amps in their setup. Is Sundown the best option? Price not being a factor.

I believe those are fully clipped ratings, as dB-r put it "balls to the walls with no regards to clipping" . Check this out, a clamp test performed by dB-r on the SAE-1200D: dB-r Electronics Forums - Sundown Audio SAE-1200D Review. Of course, that is on the SAE-1200D v1, not the new v2, but the ratings can't be too much different.

It does rated power, yes. But the only way for you to get those massive numbers is with the gains maxed out and lots of power to back it up. I'd go with the DSC-1500.1D.

Have you seen anyone do tests on the MB Quart? Why are people saying they are getting more power out of the Sundown? Is it BS? Will the MB Quart put out the most power and is it clean power? $209 is a great price.

I have yet to find an actual clamp test with proof on the 1500.1D - as of now, everything said about it putting out rated is simply word of mouth. There was one test posted here not too long ago for the 2000.1D, and it did above rated. I believe there was a clamp test for the DSC4125 as well, and it did rated power. However, the 1500.1D is still very popular and I haven't seen anyone dissatisfied with it besides from the rare doa. Most people who move to a 1500.1D from a similarly rated amp say it's just as good, if not better than their previous amp. I have one myself and I'm very satisfied with it - for $209, it fit my budget and requirements perfectly. As far as I know, it's performing great, sounds awesome, and doesn't get hot.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the amps you listed. If I had to choose, I'd go with the DSC1500.1D or the AQ1200D, only for aesthetic reasons - they both have a matching 4-channel amp.
