What's your choice: Sundown SAE1200D,MB Quart 1500.1,AudioQ AQ1200d,Audiopipe ap15001

most ap3000d amps clamp at around 2900 max if you have it full tilt, and thats 2 ap1500d's strapped at 14.4. it has 100 amp fusing standard 80v rails. the mb quart has 140 amp of fusing 2 guage inputs and many clamp tests online showing over 1500rms
Lies. The AP3000 is underrated.

Acctually the Sundown SAE.1200.1d V.2 a revamp from the old model and built FAR better then the previous one.

Its one hell of an amp for the money. I'll be honest I have the DSC.1500.1d Its a nice amp for the money. The AP stuff is made by the same build house who does SoundMagnus amplifiers in china, These are their budget made amps they work and do the job but are not always reliable.

Power Tests here on the SAE1200.1d V2

I dont know, Ive had the SAE-1200D V1 and now Ive got the MB DSC-1500.1 and I felt like my sundown was a little better on the electrical and sounded louder but i dont know. I dont think I have the gains turned to the maximum that the MB will allow before clipping. My type-rs were always warm after a bumping session with the SAE but only half the time now...dun kno....I wont count out the MB yet...not until I know Im giving full power but so far I liked my sundown more...

It seems like all of these amps are pretty well rounded. It seems impossible to make an easy decision. For one 12" this power should be more than enough, correct? And I'm shooting for SPL. Is one amp cleaner power than another?

And Shinju, is there any reason you chose to get the Sundown?

Thank You for all of the help

What there any reason you decided to go with the MB DSC-1500.1 over the SAE-1200D V2? Will I really notice a change in sound quality?

Thanks

I mean the reason I went with the MB was because I saw the test on the 2000.1 and saw it was underrated and I figured the 1500.1 was basically the same and you cant really beat 1500 for 209 from sonic vs 250 for 1200 watts.....and honestly I dont know how you can really judge sound quality with subwoofers but like I said in my last post I felt that the sundown got lower and louder. I mean my doors would flex when I had the sundown installed and that doesnt happen with the MB...but the DMM i had borrowed was cheap and didnt read over 30 volts so I couldnt really set the MBs gains correctly yet....

I love my Sundown SAE-1200D. All these guys who are calling it junk because it comes out of China are ****ing crazy. Just because it doesn't have some of the same features, and wont take 16v like the SAZ line, doesn't make it junk. It will easily put out the same power as the MB Quart and probably then some. Another reason I'd go wit the Sundown is for the amazing customer service, it can't get any better.

Then mention specific build houses and it'd be clear, as you've failed to quote my whole statement with what my actual point was. I'm speaking generically of "made in Korea" vs "made in China". Your point would support my thought, that it's the mfg's setup and specs not the country.
If I'm not mistaken, zenon is a buildhouse located in Korea, not a car audio company as in "anyone can buy an amp from them" You have to buy multiple in order for them to sell to you.
