Ok guys. Your all alot smarter than me with this kind of stuff.. SOunds like a scam to me ( especially since he said hell hold the car .. But here is the Email he sent me

Hello,

My car (1993 Toyota Supra) it's in perfect condition, it has only 120,235 miles, it's almost brand new, never accidented, no scratches, no dents or hidden defects...it's just the way it looks it is. The price is $4400 if you buy it now. It has also a clear title.

First of all I want to tell you that I am in Anchorage, AK. I am selling the car for such a low price because my squadron has been en sent back to Afghanistan for the next year and I don't want it to get old in my garage. I need to sell it before 25 July.

I will handle with the shipping everywhere in USA and I will cover the shipping fees too. The car will be shipped in a crate container directlly to your home address in maximum 3-5 days.

I am a member of eBay Vehicle Purchase Program and we will use this program in our transaction.

I will wait your email if you are interested in purchasing it...I have reserved it for you until I have your decision.

Thank you,

Steven

These are the big give aways. Nobody will pay that much to ship a car via crate for a $4400 item. Shipping alone would cost through national transport is $3300. That isn't even in a crate.

Scammers always say they are somewhere else like in the military for a convenient story as to why they can't be there when you show up, or they would prefer to ship it, or their friend is taking care of it. There is nothing about this that isn't a scam.

I had one on CL a month ago. 2008 chevy colorado, perfect condition, due to divorce she wanted $3000. BULLSH!T!!! "She" wanted it paid for by money order or some crap even though it was supposedly local. Usually when it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Not to say there aren't good deals out there, just be careful.
